On Friday, Oct. 3, all EMU students were invited to the President’s reception room to participate in an open forum with Sam Rasoul, the youngest congressional candidate in the country.

General Nash stirred up a loud, high-energy performance Saturday night. Students piled into Common Grounds waiting for the band to begin, some taking advantage of food and snacks that were available at the show. In their first performance, the cover band packed Common Grounds for their 9 p.m. show.

Tomorrow begins homecoming weekend, and EMU has numerous festivities planned for alumni, students, family and friends. The theme for this year’s homecoming is “Celebrate the Vision.”

For the first time in more than seven years, Eastern Mennonite University is considering making changes to its Community Lifestyle Commitment (CLC). The revisions are an attempt to reconcile discrepancies between Student Life policies and the CLC.
