Show Your Team Spirit!

With four important athletic contests spanning across Saturday afternoon and evening, show your same Royal pride that was on display for the men's soccer game against Goshen to the guests that will be engulfing the campus for Homecoming.

The atmosphere that was created on that victorious night over the Maple Leafs of Goshen College was not just a result of all the tailgating, face painting, and sea of blue that was on display, but because of the huge student presence. Any athlete would say that seeing the large numbers in attendance at the games is a big lift mentally and physical even when they are in the heat of battle.

No matter if you are not a huge sports fan and are their for social hour, the large turnout of the student body definitely has an impact on the game and is desired not only for this weekends games but the rest of the school year.

Division III athletes put in countless hours of hard work not only during the season, but also during the summer too because of their great passion for the sport they play. The least we can do as a student body is show our support in hopes of propelling the Royals to victory. Come out this weekend to the University Commons and the turf field in large numbers to show all those connected with EMU from the past and present that Royals athletics is on the rise both on and off the field.
