Galleries showcase student and faculty work

One corner of the four-wall exhibit that comprises Rosenberger's senior project. The remaining walls display images such as a helicopter and a windmill.

Two campus art galleries opened recently with exhibits of both student and faculty work. The gallery next to the Common Grounds coffee shop (left) displays EMU student Kurt Rosenberger's senior art project. The red, black, and white painted work covers all four walls of the room.
At right is a part of the exhibit on display in the Hartzler Library Gallery. That exhibit, entitled "A Ladder Without Rungs: Exploring Metaphors of Trauma" is a combined work of faculty member Howard Zehr and CJP students Judah Oudshoorn and Manas Ghanem. Featured are photos by Zehr and paintings by Oudshoorn and Ghanem, along with reflections that go with each painting. The display runs from Nov. 6 to Dec. 9, 2005.
