Player of the week: Kristina Zaccaria

Kristina Zaccaria serves against Randolph-Macon.

This week's featured player is Kristina Zaccaria, a sophomore from Mt. Sidney, Va. In Wednesday's women's volleyball match against Randolph-Macon Women's College, she served ten in a row to lead the Lady Royals to a shutout. In addition, she had five service aces, three digs, and three assists in the match. That gives her 51 digs for the season, as well as 21 aces and 165 total serves.

This is Zaccaria's second season playing for the EMU women's volleyball team. Her next time in action will be on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. as she tries to help lead the Royals to a homecoming victory over Emory & Henry College.
