Senior Jonalyn Denlinger earned her second Old Dominion Athletic Conference field hockey Player of the Week award on Monday after leading Eastern Mennonite University to a pair of conference victories last week.

Denlinger, a senior from Lancaster, Pa., scored 14 total points last week as EMU went 2-0 in ODAC matches. On Tuesday, she scored four goals and added one assist in just 40 minutes as EMU defeated Randolph-Macon Woman's College 9-0 at home. She followed that Friday with two goals and one assist in a 5-3 victory over Bridgewater on the road. She totaled six goals on 11 shots along with two assists. Denlinger leads the team with 11 goals and four assists for 26 total points.

Denlinger's six goals moved her into a tie for seventh on the EMU career goals list at 53. She currently sits sixth on the assists charts and needs three more to tie Kristen Moyer for fifth. She also ranks eighth on the career points list with 149, needing nine to tie Jean Horning for seventh.

The award is the second this season for Denlinger, who was also named Player of the Week on September 12 when she scored three goals, including the game-winner in two EMU victories, and also had an assist.

EMU plays two home matches this week with a 4:30 p.m. match on Tuesday against York College (Pa.) and a 7 p.m. contest on Thursday against Sweet Briar College.
