Troupe aims for good, clean fun

EMU's improv troupe 'Arters Anonymous is expanding and making additions to become a more integrated part of the EMU community. The troupe would like to officially thank everyone who attended our show on Saturday. We had a great run packed with a lot of games and even more laughs.

'Arters likes to have fun and include the audience, but we also want to do so within an appropriate format. Many of the games are fast paced, and often times the performers do not have time to think a great deal about what they saying or doing. Occasionally, some games in the past have not had the quality that we are looking for, and we have been doing our best to bring those games up to a higher par in order to be as entertaining as possible without venturing to questionable areas.

We have had several group meetings about where we want to go as a troupe and are in agreement that we want our shows to be filled with great laughs and clean fun.

Unfortunately, we have lost several members to graduation and other commitments and are looking for more people to fill the spaces. If you like to make people laugh and are not afraid to try new things, 'Arters Anonymous is looking for you. If you are interested in finding out more information, contact the group's artistic director Colt Nutter or the business manager Matt Pearson.
