The Christian modern rock band Thirstborne gave a concert Sunday evening at 7 p.m. in Lehman Auditorium. Left, bassist Jeremy "Shick" Kempf gets into the band's worship style. Thirstborne formed while its members were students at Hesston College. The band also performed during chapel on Friday. Their stop at EMU is part of a year-long tour under Mennonite Mission Network.
According to band member Fishburn, the lead vocalist and guitar player, "The name 'thirstborne,' on its most basic level, describes our need as humans to be fulfilled. We bear a thirst for something."
