Still perfect: field hockey now 8-0

The 11th-ranked EMU field hockey team improved their record to 8-0 with a victory over rival Lynchburg College. The Royals scored early and battered the Hornets' defense until Lisa Ehst’s insurance goal put the game away late in the 2nd half.

Kristin Moyer scored her conference leading 15th goal 4:57 into the game and assisted on Ehst’s goal.

Wednesday’s victory was the first in two years against LC.
