Students leave on cross-culturals: Middle East, Guatemala
Josiah Garber

Above: A large crowd of students get ready to leave on the Middle East cross-cultural. Despite hesitations about the trip due to international conflict, Linford Stutzman has gone ahead with the plans, but has back-up plans in case something arises. Steve Gibbs (right) gathers outside the bus with Paul Yoder (left) to say goodbye before Yoder boards the bus and is on the way to the Middle East. The Middle East cross-cultural received their “sending out” during the Jan. 9 chapel while the Guatemala group had their “sending out” during the Jan. 7 chapel. The Guatemala departed a day before the Middle East group, Jan. 8.
