A recent discussion between students at EMU (in which I was a participant) revealed an interesting fact, although I would guess that it is nothing new to many students. The interesting realization was in relation to pride - more specifically the lack thereof - here at EMU. College is supposed to be a time when we the students become independent thinkers. Our faith should become our own; we decide which movies are too risqué or not, and we can leave the table without eating all the vegetables on our plate.
