“Tartuffe” Satirizes 17th-Century Christian Corruption

“Tartuffe” is a five-act play in verse, and it’s “absolutely hilarious,” according to freshman Ingrid Johnson, who plays Marianne. Directed by associate theater professor Heidi Winter Vogel, and assistant junior Joy Boardman, the comedy is set in 17th century France and is a classic by Moliere.

Brooke’s Movie Review: Action Series “Bourne” Again

The third film in the “Bourne” series after “The Bourne Identity” and “The Bourne Supremecy” follows the continuing adventures of everyone’s favorite ex-government hit man, Jason Bourne (Matt Damon). Even though the end of the previous movie suggested that Bourne’s name was to be cleared, some higher-ups in the CIA continue to have concerns about him and consider Bourne a threat to the organization. Because of this, he remains a marked man. His only aims, however, are to find out more about his past life and exact his revenge on those that changed it forever. Nikki Parsons (Julia Stiles), an agent who had previously helped others to work against Bourne, now joins up with him in an attempt to circumvent hostile government officials and find out the truth about an organization by the name of Black Briar.
